These include the enforcement of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (1979) and caring for and rehoming thousands of animals every year.

The role is full time and will offer a competitive remuneration along with the flexibility to negotiate a roster, rental assistance and/or relocation to accommodate the needs of the successful candidate. There is no after-hours emergency work and there are multiple referral and emergency clinics within one hour of the veterinary hospital. The role also has the flexibility to meet the development objectives of the successful candidate, including further studies, involvement in policy and/or research.
